Jess Hutt - Owner
Jess is a dog enthusiast, having grown up with varying dog breeds throughout her life. Hutt & Hound was created as a way of fulfilling her deep affection for dogs and healthy pursuits of the great outdoors. Jess recently completed a Certificate in Dog Psychology and Training and is always looking for ways to further understand our furry friends.
Previously, Jess has spent majority of her professional career working as a Commercial Events Specialist on leading international design and art events such as the London Design Festival, Sydney Contemporary Art Fair & Melbourne Fashion Week.
Jess Mitchell - Pack Leader
Jess is an enthusiastic animal lover with a profound passion for dogs. Over the past seven years, they have gained extensive experience in various roles within the animal care and horticultural industries, including as a dog handler, animal attendant at veterinary clinics, boarding kennels, as well as with the RSPCA. Most recently, they spent the last three years at Bark in the Park, walking packs of dogs and honing their handling skills with a variety of breeds.
Rhi Scully - Pack Leader
Rhi is currently completing her Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, building on her Certificate II in Animal Care and hands-on experience volunteering at the RSPCA. She’s worked with dogs of all breeds and personalities, using force-free, reward-based methods to encourage calm behaviour and good manners. Reliable, passionate, and dedicated to positive reinforcement, Rhi brings both knowledge and heart to the Hutt and Hound pack.
Holly McPherson - Pack Leader
Holly brings a wealth of experience from her work as an Animal Attendant at a busy doggy daycare and four years as a dedicated dog walker and pet sitter. Skilled at caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, she uses positive, reward-based methods to keep pups safe, happy, and engaged. With her calm presence, warm communication, and genuine love for animals, Holly is a natural fit for the Hutt and Hound team.
Claudia Tomassini - Dog Sitter
Claudia is a lifelong animal lover and has never missed an opportunity for a pat with any dog, ever! Having grown up with working breeds she appreciates a long walk with plenty of sniffing opportunities, rain or shine.
Beyond hanging out with your fur-babies, she is studying Social Work and enjoys pottery, live music and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
Mia Watt - Dog Sitter
Mia is a gentle and enthusiastic dog lover. Passionate about animal rights and welfare, she extends this to an insightful approach to caring for dogs with a diverse range of needs and personalities. She loves to be accompanied by a furry friend on long nature walks, and equally on a zoom around the oval.
Mia is completing a Master of Public Policy and Management and enjoys camping, hiking and lots of baking when she is away from her desk.
