Group Walks
At Hutt and Hound, our group walks are more than just exercise — they’re an adventure. We take small, carefully matched packs to bushland trails and open spaces where dogs can stretch their legs, splash in water, sniff, chase, and play together. Each group walk runs for a full hour off-lead, but with pick-up and drop-off, your dog enjoys up to two hours out and about.
Every outing is led by a walker with extensive handling experience, so you can feel confident that your dog is in safe, capable hands. We carefully balance freedom with structure: your dog gets the joy of running with their friends, along with enrichment through recall practice, socialisation, and exposure to new environments.
To join our walks, we ask all new dogs to complete our on-boarding process. It begins with an enquiry form, followed by a solo assessment walk where we can get to know your dog one-on-one, test their recall, and ensure they’re comfortable in a group setting. If the assessment goes well, they’re welcomed into our pack.
Because consistency matters for the safety and balance of the group, we require a minimum of one booking per week. We don’t offer ad hoc walks.
After each adventure, you’ll receive a text and a photo so you can see just how much fun your dog had that day.
