What are your cancellation policies?

Hutt & Hound will only cancel or postpone a walk if the weather is too extreme and could become a danger to your dog.

Cancellations from a client with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee.

Does my dog need to vaccinated and desexed?

Hutt & Hound require all dogs registered for walks to have a certificate of vaccination, have been recently wormed/flea treated and desexed.

What do I need to prepare for the walk?

Owners need to provide the safety lead and harness .

Do you walk dogs on weekends?

Hutt & Hound are only open for business Monday to Friday.

Where do you take the dogs?

We take the dogs to off leash areas within the community that are lush and wild allowing your dog to soak up all the wonderful smells and sounds.

Do you work public holidays?

Yes, if they fall on a weekday. There is a 15% surcharge for public holidays, when required. 

Can I drop my dog off?

No, we don’t have a head office, so we arrange collection and drop off after the dog walk.

What are your service ares?

Service areas: Northcote, Thornbury, Fairfield, Alphington, Ivanhoe, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North and Clifton Hill.

Are you insured?

Yes we are, and every dog walker has a current police check.
