At Hutt & Hound, we’re a small, heart-led team offering Group Walks and in-home dog sitting services across Melbourne’s inner north.
We believe in enriching the lives of dogs and their families through connection, consistency, and care. Whether it’s joyful group walks in nature, one-on-one Training Walks to build skills and confidence, or cosy Overnight Stays in your dog’s own home, everything we do is tailored to support your dog’s unique personality and needs. With a strong focus on positive reinforcement and gentle routines, we’re here to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved—while giving you peace of mind, too
GROUP WALKS
Group Walks are one hour long (plus pick-up and drop-off) in safe off-the-lead areas, where dogs are free to explore the natural smells and sounds of the environment and bond with likeminded companions.

We ensure to check the water bowl is full and the key and lead are placed back where we found them, locking gates and doors behind us.
TRAINING WALKS
Need a little extra support before your dog joins a group? Our one-on-one training walks help to build confidence and foundational skills in a calm, familiar environment - with personalised guidance and regular progress updates.
We focus on key areas like calm lead walking, recall, confidence around other dogs, and engagement with their handler - all essential skills for joining our group walks. If you’ve got a young pup or a dog who needs a bit of extra guidance before mixing with the pack, this is a great starting point.
OVERNIGHT STAY
We provide Overnight Stays in your home while you are away. Your dog will miss you, of course, but will have the comfort of their own familiar environment and routine. An Overnight Stay includes; Feeding your dog their favourite food and ensuring they have fresh water, providing two dog walks daily, administering medication (if required) and your dog will be in the hands of a fully insured, police checked sitter.
